RIP Sergeants Mark Dunakin, 40, of Tracy, Erv Romans, 43, of Danville, and Dan Sakai, 35. Pray for Officer John Hege, 41, of Concord, who is on life-support.
I will NOT post the photo of the POS shooter.
Perhaps the WORST is this part of the story:
"People lingered at the scene of the first shooting. About 20 bystanders taunted police.
Tension between police and the community has risen steadily since the fatal shooting of unarmed 22-year-old Oscar Grant by a transit police officer at an Oakland train station on Jan. 1."
Note also that these solid, squared-away guys were all holding the "thin blue line" in a town far from their homes. This is the thanks that they get!
As a former resident of the SF Bay Area who has observed the horrors of the "Oaktown Flatlands" for many years, I would suggest that the USA pull-out of hopeless places like Oakland CA and East St Louis and Southeast DC before considering giving-up in Iraq.
