More Sad Stuff

Dan Seals Dead @61 -- Lymphoma

On the plus side, he died at home, with friends & family, after a full life.

Can any of us ask for more?

RIP -- We ARE a Third-World Shit-Hole

3 Cops Dead in Oaktown, 1 Clinging to Life

RIP Sergeants Mark Dunakin, 40, of Tracy, Erv Romans, 43, of Danville, and Dan Sakai, 35. Pray for Officer John Hege, 41, of Concord, who is on life-support.

I will NOT post the photo of the POS shooter.

Perhaps the WORST is this part of the story:

"People lingered at the scene of the first shooting. About 20 bystanders taunted police.

Tension between police and the community has risen steadily since the fatal shooting of unarmed 22-year-old Oscar Grant by a transit police officer at an Oakland train station on Jan. 1."

Note also that these solid, squared-away guys were all holding the "thin blue line" in a town far from their homes. This is the thanks that they get!

As a former resident of the SF Bay Area who has observed the horrors of the "Oaktown Flatlands" for many years, I would suggest that the USA pull-out of hopeless places like Oakland CA and East St Louis and Southeast DC before considering giving-up in Iraq.

OK dammit! -- Shutzstaffel

IRT my previous post. Aargh!

Plan for Shutsstaffel Move-Forward in US House

As predicted, they are moving FAST, probably since they're cognizant of the fact that they need to consolidate their power in the shrinking window of opportunity where they still have a positive support from the American electorate.

The possible result:

Quite scary!

Obama Offers to Suck Iranian Cock

The Ohdiot offers a reach-around, or is that "to reach-out"?

But is rebuffed by Iran's leaders. Apparently Ahmadinejad will settle for nothing less than unprotected anal sex.

Grovelling has rarely proved to be effective strategy in international politics. Will the Ohdiot realize this before the end of his first (and only) term? That is the question.

A Warrior Pontiff?

Or just a logical and religious 21st-century Leader...

...engaging a sixth-century crazed despotism?

A man (and Pope) for his time.

h/t to Robert Spencer, of course.
