And it's not like we are getting anything of value for this debt. If we were winning WWII or defeating Islamic Supremacism, or placing a permanent base on the Moon, I could at least entertain the argument that the achievement was worth the cost. But this is just shoveling pork to a bunch of sleazeball leftist special-interest groups.
